US Immigration Law Firm Marketing & Content Strategy

Marketing for a high-ticket legal sector: I rebuilt the institutional website, launched a newsletter from scratch, and structured lead nurturing across social media. The result: a 60% increase in direct visa inquiries and 11 clients selected in the H-1B visa lottery directly linked to this content strategy.

INLG is an elite US immigration advisory firm operating in a saturated market where leads arrive skeptical and the process is highly technical. Every firm promises the same thing: fast, guaranteed approval. The firm's technical edge was real, but the communication showed none of it.

THE CHALLENGE

The core issue started at the front door: the firm's digital presence was actively failing the business. The website was slow, visually dated, and written in legal jargon that prospects outside of immigration law could not follow. As a result, leads landed, waited for the page to load, and left without understanding what the firm actually did.

Instead of guiding the user, the homepage led with "Top-rated Attorneys" and "passionate advocacy". This positioning centered entirely on the firm. Below it, over 20 visa types were displayed as identical circles, labeled only by alphanumeric codes. If a prospect didn't already know whether their case was an EB-2 or an O-1, they had zero entry points. To make matters worse, the attorneys were absent from the homepage. Awards and credentials, the primary trust signal in this market, sat in the footer.

Beyond the website, their distribution channels were entirely unequipped for high-ticket acquisition. Immigration involves a long sales cycle where prospects actively research firms for weeks. Instead of nurturing that intent, the firm went silent. LinkedIn had no content strategy, and Instagram lacked both funnel structure and social proof. Without material to support the buyer's journey, they were failing to capture high-ticket demand.

THE EXECUTION

To fix this, I shifted the focus to the client. I assigned a clear role to every channel, from first touch to booked consultation.

Starting with the foundation, I rebuilt the entire website. I delivered a clean design, fast load times, and accessible copy. I reorganized visas by client situation, creating a dedicated page for each category explaining exactly who qualifies. To establish immediate authority, I placed attorneys and social proof prominently on the homepage, featuring testimonials with real photos, names, visa types, and job titles.

But a fast site needs qualified traffic to matter. On the technical SEO front, I rewrote meta descriptions across the entire site, fixed heading hierarchies, and improved blog readability. I wrote SEO-structured blog copy, conducted granular keyword analysis using Semrush, and mapped out title tags, meta descriptions, and URLs to capture high-intent search traffic.

With the infrastructure in place, I moved to distribution. Since qualified professionals seeking work visas live on LinkedIn, I built a newsletter from scratch so every subscriber started receiving strategic content straight to their inbox. This system was put to the test during the H-1B lottery season, the most competitive window in the immigration calendar. I focused my efforts on LinkedIn, deploying technical articles, video content, and case studies of successful applications to capture the spike in demand.

To keep that newly acquired audience engaged, I restructured the USCIS news alerts the firm was already running on Brevo. I built new headers, introduced copy variations, and constantly A/B tested CTA buttons to maximize conversion.

Finally, to build a sustainable strategy, I restructured the Instagram profile entirely around funnel logic: social proof via documented client outcomes, educational content on visas and citizenship, and interactive formats for prospects who had questions but weren't ready to hire just yet.

01 • Website Rebuild

I led a complete website overhaul in 2025. Before proposing anything, I audited the user journey and isolated the homepage as the primary conversion bottleneck.

To fix this, I rebuilt the page around what a prospect actually needs to see first: attorney credentials at the top for immediate authority, and social proof directly above the lead form. Instead of relying on technical terms, the visas went into service blocks organized by client situation. This ensured that a prospect who does not know whether their case is an EB-2 or an O-1 still has a clear entry point. From there, each category got a dedicated landing page covering the solution, who qualifies, and the roadmap.

To ground that authority, I built a testimonial section featuring real client photos, names, job titles, and visa types. This allowed prospects to identify with similar cases and qualify themselves.

The copywriting strategy prioritized absolute clarity. If a user without a legal background could not grasp the value proposition on the first scroll, I rewrote it. That meant cutting legal jargon, translating requirements into plain language, and fact-checking every claim against official USCIS data. I closed the page with an FAQ answering the questions prospects were already asking.

I owned the full production: layout design, replacing stock imagery with real team assets, and building the blog architecture for SEO. I A/B tested the core conversion pages and increased qualified lead conversion by 25%. The site remains live today at www.bfrota.com

01 • Authority on Linkedin

LinkedIn holds the most qualified audience for professional visas, and they want one thing before they hire: proof.

I built the content entirely on that foundation. I focused on approved cases, testimonials from people who had been through the process, and practical guidance written for readers who know their own worth and want to understand exactly what they are getting into.

To secure this audience, I built a newsletter from scratch and structured it as an owned channel. Every subscriber received the content straight to their inbox, eliminating any dependence on algorithmic reach. These technical articles drew more than 10,000 organic views on the platform.

During the H-1B lottery season — the most competitive window in the immigration calendar, when thousands of professionals compete for the same visa slots— I concentrated targeted creative assets, video, and technical articles specifically on LinkedIn to capture the spike in demand.

03 • Instagram Strategy

My goal was to simplify the immigration journey using content strictly aligned with the acquisition funnel.

I built every piece of content from primary sources: the USCIS website, official legislation, and rule updates. I translated this technical complexity into accessible language, enabling prospects to understand the immigration process. I managed the entire production cycle, covering research, copywriting, and design.

I developed FAQs, practical guides, and process updates to attract top-of-funnel prospects, while using documented case outcomes to convert those already in the consideration stage.

Any incorrect legal information represented a severe risk to both the applicant and the firm. I ran a strict compliance process: every publication went through the same review workflow as a legal document before going live.

04 • Interactive Videos

I handled copywriting, design, and sound design. I turned breaking immigration news and official USCIS updates into stories sequences and reels, and I cut live stream highlights into short clips to reinforce the firm's authority.

Interactive formats like polls and question boxes addressed objections instantly and mapped audience pain points to direct the content calendar.

Prospects who came through these sequences reached the sales team already knowing which visa applied to them. View below.
